Auto Club Meet- 11th July
Heckington Auto Club are excited to announce they will be holding 4 car club show/meets in 2021, despite thinking there wouldn’t be any events at all, let alone a show!
If you are planning to attend either as a visitor or car shower, we can say that everyone who has come before has a wonderful day, even if you’re not ‘into’ cars, something happens to you when you are presented with lots of beautiful and different vehicles!
Come along to check the cars out or just have a natter. Everyone there is part of the family and are a very friendly bunch.
We look forward to seeing you on one or all of the 4 dates.
A personal message from Steve Donnelly, founder of Heckington Auto Club.
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening everyone, I hope you are all safe and well.
What a year it has been.
I think it’s safe to say we will all remember 2020 for many reasons. It’s also been a long time since any of us have done anything ‘car scene’ related and if I’m honest it looked like this year was completely out, but as restrictions are gradually lifting there is definitely light at the end of what’s been a very long and dark tunnel. It is with pleasure that I can announce we will be holding 4 events at Heckington Pavilion and Playing Fields this year.
I have stated the dates below for ease, but you can find them all on the calendar on the website. Each event will run from 13:00 to 18:00 or whenever the last car leaves!
- Sunday May 23rd
- Sunday July 11th
- Sunday August 15th
- Sunday Sept 12th
Heckington Pavilion will be open for food and drink refreshments and offer full use of the facilities including the bar, café and toilets, reminding you that there may be covid-secure measures in place inside the venue itself, so please remember to follow the guidance when you’re there.
I just want to say a massive thank you to the tenants of Heckington Pavilion for letting us have full use of the indoor and outdoor facilities, we as a club are very grateful to you!
It goes without saying we are still not sure at the time of writing this what kind of covid measures will be in place, so let’s all agree to be sensible and follow whatever guidelines there may still be in place at that point
I know it goes without saying, but please be respectful of the venue rules and our neighbouring community when visiting the event.
There is a strict 5mph speed limit on site at all times and we ask everyone to stick to it and keep the children safe.
Thank you all again for your continued support for our wonderful club and see you all soon
Safe Driving
Steve
